Diagnostic performance of SPECT/CT bone scan quantification prior to lumbar arthodesis surgery
People with back pain for at least 3 months (presumed to be due to degenerative discarthrosis or spondylolisthesis)
Pilot, monocentric, longitudinal, prospective, open-label, non-randomized interventional study.
The aim objective of the study is to propose a test (bone scintigraphy) to predict a good response to lumbar arthrodesis surgery, assessed by ODI measurement at 12 months.
People scheduled for lumbar arthrodesis surgery will benefit from SPECT/CT bone scans as part of the study.
It is of major public health interest to identify a biomarker of bone remodelling by scintigraphy, which is predictive of a good response to surgery. Depending on the results obtained, this pilot study could be followed by a multicenter study to avoid the center effect, and could be the subject of a medico-economic study.
The treatment under study: SPECT/CT bone scan quantification
