GATED cardiac analysis in patients with 68GA-DOTATOC PET for oncological indications

Diagnostic or pre-therapeutic workup or follow-up of a neuroendocrine tumor

This is a monocentric, interventional, non-randomized study with minimal risks and constraints, not involving health products.

Patients referred to the nuclear medicine department for a 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT scan as part of the diagnostic or pre-therapeutic work-up or follow-up of a neuroendocrine tumour who agree to take part in the study will have a blood sample taken and an additional 15-minute recording during the PET/CT scan, synchronized with the heart (GATED mode) for research purposes.

If the results of "GATED" mode cardiac recording in 68Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT correlate well with cardiovascular risk, assessed according to age and identified risk factors (obesity, smoking, hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes), and if this assessment is more accurate than that obtained with standard PET/CT acquisition, cardiac recording in "GATED" mode could be used to analyze the early 'pre-clinical' phases of cardiac diseases in which inflammation plays a recognized pathogenic role (calcified aortic stenosis, coronary insufficiency, certain cardiomyopathies)
